January 2019’s featured artist is Christy Stapleton, a local artist residing in Tulare, CA. She has been producing whimsical creations for several years and both authored and illustrated her own children’s books. Christy works in many different mediums such as: acrylics, pastels, colored pencils, watercolor, and paper mache. Her favorite medium at the moment is mixed media. What Christy loves most about her creations is enchanting the viewer with the emotion it brings. She strives to entice warm smiles and giggles from all walks of life, and for her that is the best gift her art can inspire.
