The success of Arts Visalia is due to the generous
support of its volunteers. We encourage you to share your valuable
time and skills with us through a variety of fun and rewarding
opportunities:
Gallery Docent — Be involved in the
Arts Visalia’s daily operation, Tuesday – Saturday,
Noon – 5:30 p.m. Training provided.
Hospitality — Be a host at a reception
or special event. You may greet visitors, take tickets, plan
refreshments, set-up and serve.
Clerical — Put your skills to work
in the office. Help on the phone, writing letters, filing
and doing mailings.
Education/Outreach — Assist with art
class enrollment, brochures, and supplies. Distribute materials
and work at information booths at special events.
Exhibitions — Help with the coordination
and installation of our regularly changing exhibitions; prepare
labels and texts.
Special Events Committees — There
are special events and fundraisers going on year round. You
can help plan.
