Purchase your raffle ticket to be the lucky winner of an original piece of art by Reiko Nakamura Yoshimoto. Reiko’s work is rarely available for collection and this may be one of the only opportunities to own her work.
Reiko was born December 5, 1928 in Hiroshima, Japan and was recognized for her artistic ability early on. She practices Chigiri-e, a traditional Japanese art form featuring torn and dyed paper dating from the Heian Period, 749 AD – 1185 AD. Raffle tickets are $25 each or 6 tickets for $100. All proceeds go towards ensuring the sustainability of Arts Visalia Visual Art Center to continue the mission of developing and promoting the visual arts to enhance the quality of life.
Tickets can be purchased in-person at Arts Visalia Wednesday – Saturday, Noon – 5:30 pm.
The winner will be selected on Saturday, September 27 at 2:00 pm. Need not be present to win.
