A retrospective of the work of Ernie Weerasinghe. A prized Plein-Aire painter in Visalia, CA. He painted scenes of small rural towns, agriculture, hills and pastures and faces of everyday folk. He had many exhibitions over the years in Visalia and Fresno and was well known in the art scene. He loved the Central Valley and spent many hours searching for the perfect “locale” to draw and paint. He captured the light and color of the Central Valley.
