Combining Western traditional drawing and the Japanese calligraphy influence of their childhood, Mayuko Ono Gray creates beautiful graphite drawings. The abstract feel of the calligraphy floats through the plane of Gray’s realistic drawings making the viewer believe that the calligraphy lives in the spaces depicted.
Arts Visalia is open Wednesdays through Saturdays from Noon-5:30 p.m.
