How Do I Apply?

with the following information:
Your Legal Name (for payment processing)
Your Mailing Address
Your Phone Number
Item Type (ie: Necklaces, Stuffed Teddy Bears, Bar Soap, etc)
Item Price or Price Range ( ie: $15.00 each or $5-20 depending on style)
Attach a photo of each item
What Kind of Products Can I Submit?
All products must be hand-made or of original design. This show is intended to be a gift shop experience which means the following kinds of products are more likely to be accepted than traditional wall-art or sculpture:
- Toys
- Functional Wares and Home-Goods (ceramic, wood, metal, glass)
- Clothing
- Jewelry
- Stationery and Cards
- Holiday Decor and Ornaments
- Soaps, Candles, or other non-perishable consumables
What Happens After I Submit My Work?
Your submission will be reviewed by a committee to determine fit and marketability. After the review you will be contacted to let you know if you have been accepted and to schedule a drop off time for your inventory.
How Much Will I Make From Sales?
Arts Visalia operates on a 75%/25% split. This means that each item sold, the artist will receive 75% of the sale price and Arts Visalia will retain 25% as a commission of sale. Arts Visalia will charge and collect sales tax for each item sold.
How Long Will My Work Be For Sale?
Your inventory will be for sale through the length of the Holiday Show & Sale. Arts Visalia may ask to continue to show and sell your inventory into the next year depending on the needs of the organization. After it is determined that your work has been on display long enough, you will be contacted to come pick up any remaining inventory. You will have two weeks from that contact to come and pick up your remaining inventory. Any inventory not picked up after requested will be considered abandoned and property of Arts Visalia and may no longer be available for return.
