Angel Lesnikowski is a contemporary artist whose work engages deeply with themes of mortality, human rights, and feminist perspectives, often explored through the lens of the female gaze. Her art interrogates complex issues such as war in the Middle East, pro-choice advocacy, and the human condition, blending emotion with facts. Since 2018, Lesnikowski has exhibited across California in both solo and group exhibitions. She served on the Council of 100 Committee for the Distinguished Woman Artist Award with the Fresno Art Museum and is a dedicated advocate for representation and equity in the arts. Lesnikowski earned her Master’s in Art from California State University, Fresno in 2024, where she graduated as Student of Distinction. In addition to her studio practice, Lesnikowski serves as an adjunct faculty member in Painting and Drawing at Porterville College and as temporary full-time faculty at Bakersfield College and as the Director for the Jones Art Gallery.
