First Friday Reception March 1st, 2024 5:30-7:30 pm.
Jodi Connelly’s work investigates the complexities of the human relationship to nature and the environment. Working directly with the land; gathering plants, soil, clay, mining tailings, or the abandoned remains of infrastructure Connelly creates sculptures that bring the outdoors in. These activities on the land are a series of meditative environmental interventions that explore the human relationship with nature in all its contradictions.
