Exhibition Runs
March 2nd – March 25th, 2022
First Friday Reception March 4th, 2022 6:00-8:00 pm.
Exploring the continual process of construction and demolition, Patrick Brien creates dynamic abstract paintings to portray the connection between the internet and the canvas. The paintings are
informed by all of the bits of visual information he collects as he goes about his day. The works are created in many layers and display many gestural and mechanical methods of applying the paint on the canvas. They reflect Patrick Brien’s interest in the way that digital interfaces have become enmeshed into the way that we perceive and interact with the world. This exhibition is a wonderful collection of his works that immerses the viewer.
