This exhibition Violence at first glance starts with iconography of a large scale meant to
envelop the viewer. The aesthetic subject matter on the surface appears inspired by armored warfare of the Middle Ages yet is symbolically intended to represent the human crisis of violence and its psychological effects. Some details are carefully rendered while others are not meant to aid the sense of movement and guide the viewer through the chaos while in the midst of battle.
