My work is a visceral response to the atrocities that plague our world. I create installations, paintings, and sculptures that confront the viewer with the brutal reality of our existence. I refuse to shy away from the uncomfortable truths that we would rather ignore, instead choosing to confront them head-on. My art is a scream of defiance, a rejection of the complacency that allows us to ignore the suffering of others.
Alfred Kitsi is a multidisciplinary artist from South Africa. He draws inspiration from real-life conflicts and social issues.
