Arturo Martinez is from Veracruz, Mexico with residence in the city of Los Angeles, CA. He graduated from the Autonomous University of Tamaulipa, Mexico, specialized in Social Sciences, Visual Arts with art studies at INBA, from Tlacotalpan, Veracuz, Mexico. He is a musician, composer and cultural promoter. The art is a result from his experience as an immigrant. The strength of his roots, his history, his family tree and his traditions are the pillars that give uniform life to his paintings. Creator of traditional music ensemble “Son Mestizo,” Stage Director of “El Fandango in its Splendor” at Hollywood Forever, and Editorial Director of “Mestizo Bookstore.”
