August 2017 is a special month for Arts Visalia, which is pleased to present Young at Art, an exhibition featuring the works of our Young at Art children’s summer program. The exhibition will also showcase works from our kids in our art program in Goshen, in partnership with Family Services.
The Youn
g at Art children’s summer program hosted seven weeks of classes featuring the seven elements of art: line, shape, form, texture, value, color, and space. Works featured are those of three age groups: 5-6, 7-10, and 11 and up and present a variety of projects in 2-D and 3-D forms.
This exhibition runs from August 2nd through August 25th. The opening reception is free to the public and will be held on Friday, August 4th, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
