Bring the whole family to Arts Visalia on March 23 & 24 to experience the monthly art exhibits, see and participate in live artist demos, listen to a slam poetry session and shop for unique gifts from guest vendor artists.
Spend time meditating in the Main Gallery surrounded by the immersive raw earth installation “Embodied Terrain” by Jodi Connelly. Follow up with perusing the expressive embellished ceramic work of Peggee Davis located in the Feature and Young Imaginations Galleries. Saturday March 23 will feature live artist demonstrations by award winning illustrator Tracy Polkownikow as well as owner of Claudia’s Clay Creations Claudia Gudiño.
10:00 am – 1:00 pm: Pen and ink illustration with Tracy
2:00 pm – 5:00 pm: Hand building ceramics with Claudia.
Sunday March 24 will have interactive screen-printing. Bring your own shirt and chose from one of our premade designs to customize your own Arts Visalia swag! Loud Mouth Poetry Jam will also be present to perform a variety of slam-poetry for visitors to enjoy.
